The award was received by Dr Aleksej Elistratov, the director of our clinic. During the ceremony in New York, he shared some of the things that make us unique in the field of addiction treatment.

Dr Vorobjev clinic was founded in 2007 in Belgrade, with the mission of providing help to patients fighting with addiction. Our goals still remain the same, but the vast experience we have been able to collect helped us perfect our services.

During the first 3 years, the clinic only provided services to Serbian patients. However, in time, our work was recognized by experts in all areas of the globe, so in 2010, we made a decision to become an international clinic. Within a couple of months, our institution grew, and it quickly ascended to reach its place among the best clinics in Europe. Soon, patients from all areas of the world started coming to Dr Vorobjev, searching for salvation from their addictive disorders.

Despite the sudden growth that occurred in the years following the foundation of our clinic, we have always honored the treatment principles that separate us from the competition. First of all, at the Dr Vorobjev clinic, we do not believe in substance replacement therapy. We think that it is impossible to achieve complete recovery if one psychoactive substance is simply replaced by another.

Our ultimate goal is to completely remove the causes that lead to the development of addictive behaviors. With that in mind, we begin each treatment by designing a plan of action, built according to the specific needs of our patients.
